Your pet is getting older. A pet that is eight years old is equivalent to 60-70 human years.
As our pets age, there are certain problems which may develop. Diabetes, kidney failure, heart failure, and liver disease are just a few. Symptoms may be evident or symptoms may be occult. The progression of these life-threatening problems can be slowed or even halted completely if diagnosed early. To do this, certain tests need to be preformed to determine if a problem exists and to what extent.

To help keep our older patients in the best health, we offer our "Geriatric Workup". When done together, this group of tests can be done for a considerable savings. All that is required is to schedule an appointment for a "Geriatric Workup" and plan on leaving your pet for a few hours on any morning, Monday through Friday.
No fasting or other preparations are necessary unless advised otherwise by a doctor. Plan on spending about 10-15 minutes to speak to the doctor about your pet's history, health or any special concerns you may have when you drop your pet off. All results of tests are generally received within 48 hours.
